Uganda, often referred to as the “Pearl of Africa,” is a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and adventurers seeking an authentic African safari experience. Primate Encounters

Besides the mountain gorillas, Uganda is renowned for its diverse primate population. Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park offers an intimate experience with these intelligent creatures, while the lesser-known golden monkeys can be found in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Though Uganda is gifted with more than 15 primate species, it is mainly the mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and golden monkeys that have undergone habituation to make Uganda primate trekking trips possible.

Bwindi impenetrable forest and Semuliki National Park often stand out for their less congestion as well as their diversity of bird species.

Game Drives

Uganda is gifted with four major savannah parks; that is Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Kidepo Valley National Park. Of these four locations, Kidepo Valley offers the most authentic wilderness experience in Uganda. However, not many people often visit Kidepo valley national park due to its isolation from all other national parks.
