Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a journey that will take you through the scenic landscapes of Uganda. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to witness the stunning countryside and vibrant local communities. Upon reaching Bwindi, you will check in to your lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and rest up for the exciting days ahead on your Gorilla Safari

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
This day is the highlight of your Gorilla safari – an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking and safety guidelines. Following the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla group to track, each group comprising a family of gorillas with its own unique dynamics. The trek can vary in duration, from a few hours to a full day, depending on the gorilla group’s location. Once you find your assigned gorilla family, you will have an awe-inspiring hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and relive the day’s adventures.
Day 3: Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi
You will take a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.” This tranquil and breathtaking lake is surrounded by lush terraced hills and is known for its natural beauty. You’ll have the opportunity to take a boat ride on the lake, visit some of the islands, and immerse yourself in the serene environment. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the area or simply relaxing by the lakeside. The cultural richness of the local communities in this area is also worth exploring. After a day of relaxation and exploration, return to your lodge for a peaceful evening.
